Virtual Library/Organization Watercolor Programs

How Do These Programs Work?

I teach the class and the library or organization provides the zoom link and possibly the supplies for their patrons/attendees. You can also just provide the class and have the attendees be responsible for getting their own supplies. (More info on the supplies needed below.) You can record the class and use it in the future if you wish.

During the class, people attending can ask any and all watercolor painting questions. I have a camera in an overhead view looking at my painting the whole time. I take everyone through the drawing and painting process step-by-step. At the end, everyone leaves the class with a finished painting.

How Long Is The Class?

The class is usually an 1.5 hours long, with 10 minutes at the end for helpful feedback if people want to show me their painting and get advice.

How Many People Can Attend The Class?

My classes can hold up to 15 kids and up to 25 adults. More than that and it can get a little crowded. All of the supplies (except for the piece of paper) can be returned to the library and re-used. The tiny tubes of paint last for a long time and only a tiny drop of paint is needed per color per paint pallet.

Why Offer A Watercolor Class?

Watercolor can be a tricky medium that can leave people frustrated when trying it out. Offering professional step by step guidance can help people on their watercolor journey. These programs are a great way to continue learning new skills. Painting can contribute to anxiety and stress relief for adults and is a great way to practice fine motor skills for kids.

How Much Is The Class?

My fee is $125 to teach the class. It is a flat fee and is not influenced by how many people attend the class.
